Randy Apele
…promoted to major

Media Release

Chief Harry S. Kubojiri has promoted Randy Apele to the rank of major, effective Monday, May 17.

Apele is now assigned to Area II Operations in West Hawaii. He replaces John Dawrs, who retired at the end of last year.

Before Apele’s promotion, he was captain of the Hāmākua and North Hilo Districts.
