Media Release (update No. 2)

Hilo police have identified a body found Wednesday (September 9) in the Onomea area as 39-year-old Jason Adams, who was reported missing and last seen alive on September 4.

An autopsy performed today (September 11) determined that he died from a a brain injury due to a skull fracture. Preliminary results did not yield the manner of death.

Police ask that anyone with information about this investigation call Captain Randall Medeiros at 961-2251 or the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311.
