…charged with contempt of court

Media Release

Big Island police have located 23-year-old Edward Daniel Geraghty of Hilo, who was was being sought.

Geraghty turned himself in to police Monday (February 1) at 12:30 p.m.

He was arrested and charged with contempt of court in connection with a bench warrant. He was also arrested on two counts of burglary but those charges are still pending while detectives from the Area I Criminal Investigations Section continue their investigation.

Geraghty is being held at the Hilo police cellblock.
