MEDIA RELEASE

Big Island police are looking for a 16-year-old girl who has been missing from her Hilo residence since October 13, 2000.

The girl, Krystal Higuchi, is described as part-Japanese, being 5-feet-5 in height, weighing 135 pounds and having brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Higuchi’s whereabouts is asked to call Officer Peter Kualii of the Juvenile Aid Section at 961-2373, the police telephone number at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
