Hawaiʻi Island police have identified the human remains found in Kailua-Kona on September 27.

The body was identified through medical X-rays as 51-year-old Lloyd Tiedeman, who had no permanent address in Kailua-Kona.

As previously reported, an autopsy determined that he died of natural causes.
