MURDER SUSPECT – Jesus Reyes Jr., 71, of Kailua-Kona, has been charged in the shooting death of Kenneth Kaniho Jr. Reyes was charged Sunday with second-degree murder, unlawful use of a firearm in commission of a felony and having an illegal place to keep a firearm. The shooting occurred on Saturday (June 17, 2000) at the victim’s workplace.
