MEDIA RELEASE

Four members of the Hawaii Police Department have been promoted to the rank of lieutenant.

Gregory Esteban is now the lieutenant of South Hilo Patrol, Joseph Lally is the lieutenant in Central Communications Dispatch, Samuel Jelsma is the lieutenant of the Area I Vice Section and Lucille Melemai is the lieutenant of the Area II Vice Section.

The promotions took effect March 1.
