Media Release

Big Island police want to clarify that the site of a prostitution sting operation in Kailua-Kona last week was chosen for its central location on Ali’i Drive and not because of any illegal activity on the premises.

None of the six men arrested for soliciting prostitution was staying at the Kona Coast Resort, where the sting took place August 2 and August 3.
