Wanted on a bench warrant

Big Island Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 20-year-old Alfred Kahalepaakea Machado III, who is wanted on a bench warrant.
Machado is described as part-Hawaiian, 5-foot-11, about 140 pounds with a slim build, brown eyes and black hair.
Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Officer Renee Morinaka of the Kona Community Policing Section at 326-4646, extension 290 or the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
