Wanted on a bench warrant

MEDIA RELEASE

Big Island police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 26-year-old Courtney Uchima, who is wanted on a bench warrant issued by the Big Island Drug Court.

Uchima is described as Caucasian/Japanese, 4-foot-11, about 115 pounds with a medium build, hazel eyes and brown hair. Her last known address was 79-1008 Hokukano Road, Kealakekua.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Officer DuWayne Waipa of the South Hilo Community Policing Section at 961-2350 or the non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
