Police have arrested a suspect wanted on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court.

Puna police arrested the suspect, identified as Gary Paul Vasconcellos, 36, at 9:15 a.m. Saturday (April 13, 2002) after was located in Volcano, Puna.

On April 2, 2002, police issued a release asking for the public’s help in locating Vasconcellos.

The department thanked members of the public who called police officers with information about Vasconcellos’ whereabouts.
