MEDIA RELEASE

Big Island police are looking for a 17-year-old boy reported missing from his home in Hilo since October 31, 2004.

He is Ivan Gonsalves. Gonsalves is described as being about 5-foot-2 in height, weighing about 105 pounds with a slim build and having a tan complexion, brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Officer Peter Kualii of the East Hawaii Juvenile Aid Section at 961-2373 or the police non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
